Jennifer Hapin
Registered Home Manager
I was born in the Philippines and followed my heart into Nursing following the death of my parents. I would say that my profession is my dedication to my parents who taught me the value of serving humanity and am proud to say I passed by Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. This fired my enthusiasm to learn and develop as a registered nurse.
I broadened my horizons in 2004 by moving to the Leeds in the UK where I am embraced the opportunity to work with Professor Graham Mulley – a senior academic and ambassador of elderly care.
Following his lead, I have developed my skills and knowledge in this sphere of nursing and was head-hunted to work in the Isle of Man, where initially I was a clinical lead, but progressed through the ranks to my current position of Registered Manager of Crovan Court Isle of Man Limited.
I have strong moral values which encompass patience, sympathy, compassion, honour, courage and devotion in both my professional and personal life. These are values which I feel the people in the Isle of Man show each other in all walks of life and adds to the pleasure of living in this Gem in the Irish Sea.
