Yes. We are happy to offer interviews by video call, particularly for candidates who do not live locally. This allows us to speak with you before you relocate and helps make the recruitment process more accessible. If you are local, it is good for you to see your new work environment before you start, however this can be at a different time to your interview.
Yes. We welcome applications from candidates who currently live outside Jersey or the Isle of Man. If you are successful, your appointment will be subject to your right to work locally, including any work permit or immigration requirements that apply. Our recruitment team can explain this process if needed. You will need to have at least two years experience and an appropriate qualification.
English does not need to be your first language. What matters is that you can communicate clearly and safely in English, particularly where the role involves supporting clients, working with colleagues, or completing care records. Off-island applicants would be required to undertake the IELTS English Course. We value diversity and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
