Tracey career started in care some 25 years ago as a care assistant, she then qualified as a RGN within an established care home in Huddersfield, eventually taking on the role of Community Care Manager/Matron. With the experience she gained she then undertook a 50 bedded home and was instrumental in setting up a residential dementia unit to add to their services. In doing so, the Senior Management and Directors of Four Seasons Healthcare approached Tracey to support other their other homes within the Group who were going through CQC and contract embargos. Which she did so extremely successfully.
Tracey then took on a 93 bedded home for 4 seasons which had residential, dementia, adult learning disability and dementia residential units. Tracey was then approached by two leading CEOs from Barchester to come to Jersey to assist them with one of their homes in St Peter of 67 beds (both residential and nursing). Since then, Tracey has held a Management position in a charitable home, Maison La Corderie where she completed all the MHA Policies which are now used throughout the MHA homes and latterly joined the LV Group in 2019. Tracey opened up La Petit Bosquet and managing this home through a difficult period of Covid, she then was asked by the Directors to take on the position of Registered Manager at St Joseph’s (LV Group’s biggest Residential and Nursing Home) which home she now oversees alongside her newly promoted role of Clinical Director.
